Hi Luvy,

came back for a second look It's very Japanese! Lovely compostion. The bird has a great attitude he takes over from the flowers. I like this bird.

Thanks everyone *S* I'm kind of liking this watercolors. But I only try them when I'm in between paintings in oil. I'm working on another bird watercolor tonight *S*

now I always hated watercolours... not looking at them... I mean using them.. so darn unforgiving... I finally gave up on them... you did a lovely job on this... you have the knack...

Jan Thanks Not too bad for a first. I tried those pencils but those are terrible but in combination with the pots? little disks of color? LOL What do I know what they call these things. Anyway with the pencils and these it's easier. I still can't mix them I try building up color with them. Is that what you do? LOL

Thanks everyone for comments. This is a 9 x 12 on watercolor paper. Bought some Casons paper now. Don't remember what this paper was made by. But it sure wrinkles alot.
