Outer Banks Fishing Pier, nearing finish?

These are from a digital video camera. Don't know how they will look.

This is my first offering to y'all. Would like any input you can give. The subject is backlit with glare from the ocean. I don't know if water is working, and the sand will probably be lightened a little. Thanks for viewing, jimmy craig

I really like your composition. The negative spaces are rythmic and musical. I’m impressed that you’ve managed to take a subject that consists largely of horizontal lines and present it in a way that isn’t compositionally dull. The combination of the heavy mass of the building, the diagonal wave on the beach and the vertical lines all balance out those horizontals well.

It’s looking great, and I’m very curious to see what else you will do with it.

Thank you Quiet for looking. I'll be interested to see where it ends up also.
