He will be missed, even by those of us who only occasionally drop by here, a friendly and generous person who loved painting.

From now on...I will stop and paint "that little red tree" because of him! I will take the time to paint...no matter what I "have" to do.

Here's to you Mike....we are alll sooo glad you decided to stop and paint that little red tree....and share all your wonderful works with us!

Re: In Memoriam---Mike Pacitti

I just returned from vacation to hear this terribly sad news. I painted and smoked cigars with Mike in November at Boscobel (Hudson River)..we shivered, painted, smoked and had a lovely time. It was the the only time I spent with Mike and he was a wonderfully genuine man. We spoke on the phone many times and only last week ( he was in FL) we planned to paint in the snow when he returned. This meeting will, unfortunately not occur but I know Mike's painting would have been gorgeous!!!! We will all miss you.

His kind deeds are a lasting gift to his friends and family who will never forget him. Nothing can ever truly separate those who love and are loved and remembered. Mike will be remembered by many many people. God Bless him and his family.

Re: In Memoriam---Mike Pacitti

I always looked forward to a post by Mike, because I knew it would not only be a good painting, but an inspiring one. He brought out so much beauty in whatever he painted, and it always made me sigh with appreciation.

Wow, sad news indeed, I was looking foward to painting with Mike, now I'm sorry I did not meet him last year when I had the chance. Very sad, my heart goes out to his family.

Re: In Memoriam---Mike Pacitti

I was away and just heard the sad news of Mike's passing. I am shocked, stunned and speechless.

We shared many great conversations here and became good friends.

I'm still reeling from the news. Like I said, I completely speechless and very upset by this ... I'll miss you Mike.
