Post Elena

Hia all,
I entered three portraits in a show at work. A reporter saw them and called me for an interview for our local paper. The article will run in the Sunday paper, I am pretty psyched!

I told her, rather then buying a Monet print or dried weeds, one should consider buy a piece from a local artist. People should be encouraged to trust their own instict.

Also, a portrait could replace the little gifts that companies give to recognized employee achievement like clocks or plaques. It could hang on the wall at the workplace for a while and then the person can take it home and cherish it. Maybe even his/her children and grand-children can appreciate it. Would that not be more long lasting than a watch or plaque?

Here is Elena, she was sitting for us on Friday. She is pregnant and had this constant smile on her face.
