Post Should I finish?

I have been drawing animals for as long as I can remember, but have never really liked drawing people. I recently decided that I wanted to get better at people, so started working on this drawing of a child. I didn't finish it before I got started on more animals and the drawing went by the wayside, but now as I look back on it I really like it as is...incomplete. Somehow the simplicity really captures the raw emotion and childishness for me. I am still undecided about whether or not to go and put in all of the detail that I do with my animal drawings or leave it incomplete, as it is. I would love opinions on this subject.

Thanks in advance.

If you like it, keep it that way.

But since you asked for opinions, it does look unfinished to me.
(Perhaps if you just finished off the head more?)

I think if you're going to do a piece which has that incomplete but complete look, you need to plan to do so in advance, so that it balances properly and looks more intentional.

It's a lovely piece of work, and I would like to see it go all the way.

But that's just my humble opinion! It's YOUR work, and if you think it's complete, it's complete!

Thanks for your comments and thoughts. I think I will put some more work into it and see what comes of it. I really have nothing to loose since this piece is just for fun and learning.

I like at is also, but I can see how you can grow it into a "finished" drawing.

Beautiful! Fantastic mouth and expression! I agree with those who suggest adding to the negative space first...
