Got moved in!!
Woohoo! We got moved into our new (to us) house this weekend, and DH brought the last of our stuff over from the townhouse tonight, so NO going back there anymore!
I should be torching at near-full time hours in about 2 weeks, which is when I anticipate my studio being complete. I just ordered my ventilation hood today, I just have to pick up my kiln and oxygen concentrator from my parents' house sometime before it arrives. I've already warned DH that once the torch is up and running, not to expect to see much of me unless he comes down to the basement...

I did, Anne! Actually, the day before we moved I got it, and those little pretties got packed up right away! Sorry not to have sent a note about it... things were kind of hectic! Thanks bunches! I love them, and they will be put to good use! |

Thanks Pat! At first I wasn't too fond of this house (DH loved it), but I'm now liking it a lot (it doesn't seem as small as I thought it was... lots of storage space!), and despite all the boxes and the mess, it feels homey.
And Ro, don't worry... I'll be green as soon as you get that warehouse space!
Now... just need to change a few things, rip off some wallpaper, paint a few walls.... the work begins! |

Nichole!! That is EXACTLY how I felt about our house when we got it. I thought it was too small and my DH loved it because of the space! But now that we're almost unpacked (after six months ) there's enough space and I'm loving my house. Having a 3/4 basement for ME, ME, ME, also helped!
