Re: Project Discussion: Autumn
How about I send you some leaves . It is raining here today but will collect some, dry and send them in wax paper to keep them pressed. Then, would you join this project?? I am working on mine today. It could be considered finished but want to add more. I will upload it soon.

I don't know how you get all the little images to show up but, yes these are beautiful. The colors are all my favorites. I love fall. It is a wonderful time of the year.

I saw them big, I did what Penny says. I also love fall, here in Mexico, specially here where I live it's a wonderful time, it's not cold, not hot, it doesn't rain as much as in summer, and the leaves of the trees, change their colors, as we see in the pictures, Veracruz is a wonderful state, specially for artists and photographers. Hope some day you come down here.

Re: Project Discussion: Autumn
Thank you countrymouse for your nice words, The backing is canvas panel and the background is the tissue paper. I used a lot of staining with oil color. The rust flakes are the trunk of the tree. I'm glad you liked it.

Mary, this is fantastic. I would have never thought of mixing oil and tissue paper. I'm so bad, I have your aluminum flakes ready to send you, It slipped my mind for awhile but I did get as far as getting an envelope for them. Forgive me, I will try to get them out to you this week. It's probably more important to me than it is to you because I can't wait to see what you are going to do with them.

Re: Project Discussion: Autumn
Thank you Pilan!!!
Penny thank you, don't worry, you have a lot on your hands and I just hope that whatever I come up with, will be artistic, I am dying to get my hands on that.
Nowaihed, thank you for the ghost stories, I'll go to that site and read them next to my painting.
Thank you Li, the rust flakes don't weigh much and in fact are powdery so I just stuck them on with white craft glue, quite a bit of it and then went over the flakes with more and they are really stuck on.
Hi, Chris, nice to see you back!!!

Mary, next Sunday is Halloween, so before going treat or trick, read some stories. I suppose your painting is ready to hear them!
