I did this pic for my sister's last birthday. I see now all of the differences between the reference photo which was the cover of Time last December.
I have his face thinner and longer. His mouth is open much too wide. I'll see if I can at least work on the mouth before I return it to her. He kind of looks in distress in my drawing.

I like the face thinner and longer than the original. The Time cover made it look too chunky ~ I even remember thinking that at the time it came out

I was disappointed when I saw the differences, but the majority said they liked it better. I'm not disappointed anymore.
