A few which almost got away

I took these as part of my attempts at minimalism. When I looked at them on the computer though I decided they didn't really fit the theme. So rather than waste them....
The office block where I work.

A wall on the ground floor. I wasn't too sure about the 'blue cast' to this one but in the end I decided I quite liked it.

Another office block

C&C very welcome!
Kate.
PS, now I've previewed the post, I'm wondering if I should have added borders?

Love them Kate!!! I'm not sure either if they are minimalist but they sure are abstract! My favourite would have to be the last one! I just like the reflections and the curves, Borders would be nice but they are great with out!

Great work...

Cheers

PS Gee my post count has risen over the last few days LOL

LOL Scott! You're addicted! Didn't anyone warn you? It's a well known problem here at Wetcanvas, and happens to us all
Thank you for the kind comments btw. I thought they were quite abstract too which is why I didn't put them in the Minimalism project
Kate.

Nice to see where you spend your time, Kate. I particularly like the last shot....the curves and lines and reflections make for a very interesting composition.

Kate, these are all just wonderful! But I adore the second one. Love the lines, light and shadow, comp and that creamy, delicious blue! I could be wrong, but I'd have been tempted to post that one as minimalist.

Kate, WOW these are soooo fantastic....you really have an eye for lines and shapes. I think the second one could qualify for minimalism..especially if you cut off the small dark area at the bottom. It sure doesn't look like a wall at all, maybe some drawers...funny how the eye gets fooled by size.

I totally love the last one it is fantastic with the curves and the colors. I cropped out the last two rows of windows on the left and really like that look too....great photo

I liked the third one Kate it has a bit of the optical illusion about it. Can you post one of the pub in Terminal 2!!

Re: A few which almost got away

Thanks for the replies everyone.
Joy, I think my favourite is the last one too. Like Chris say's it's a bit like an optical illusion. (off to terminal 2 today Chris to get your photo of the pub!)
Kathy, I can see your crop would work equally well. Glad you liked it.
Eileen, I wondered and wondered whether the second one could be classed as minimalism. In the end I decided the shadows and reflections made it a bit too busy.(which of course is just my opinion and I freely admit to knowing nothing about minimalism, lol) I did like the photo itself though, so I'm really pleased you did too.
Thanks again everyone.
Kate.

Great shots Kate--just the kind that I passed over for the minimalism project. Although a closer crop of #2 would qualify. Really like all of them. Minimal is kind of hard to get your head around isn't it. But we get some good photos trying.
