Thumbs down *Graphic Violence* Teenage Mutant Ninjas...

Oh, did I mention they were also turtles. It' been a few years since they lost their popularity but I still see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle paraphernalia from time to time. Back when they first came out I was really into them. I used to collect TMNT comics and watch the cartoon show. Something compelled me to do a page just for fun. I sketched it with pencil, then inked it, then colored it with prismacolor fine head/wide tipped markers (those work really well I've found). I'm a little rusty, but it was fun doing comics again. Also, some slight cropping occured on the righthand side. Any comments welcome.

But weren't the original TMNT comics in black and white?

Fun stuff. And I'll use this to post a reminder that the creator started a foundation that offers grants to independent comics creators. It's called the Xeric Foundation.

Comics! Ya gotta love 'em!

I remember Trolls. That was a good independant comic that was b/w at first then went to full color. I met the creators. Loved the likeness to the 3Stooges. Heh, cool comic.

Good job though! You haven't gotten too rusty!
