I did what you suggested with the water and also made the rock bolder. This pic is a little washed out but you can see the diff.

The added color gives more depth to the water...and making the rock larger gives more balance. The ducks are really your focal point! Nice work.....keep painting!

Welcome to the forum Pam, tnings are moving lightening fast here. I just wernt back to find your first posting to compare. Yes, the added colour in the water was just a perfect touch. This is a lovely piece. I like your texture in the background and of course the little duckies...you have given them a character. Hope to see more of your work...Mary
