Hey Aj !!! This was a blast ! From your brilliant invitation (that was just great !) to the selection of photos, you had my attention and curiosity going full tilt ! I know nothing about being in the military, don't watch scary movies, and had to phone my son-in-law to find out the right term for those prepackaged meals the soldiers get stuck with ! Thanks for the look in an unfamiliar direction ! (except for the photo of the girls- I think that was me and several of my nursing student buddies - we all looked just the same !) Cheers ! lauren

You're welcome, gang. And thanks to everyone who posted artwork and comments. It is very gratifying to have so many artists make such beautiful work out of the photos I gathered together. Keeping an eye out for scenes and objects that will be provocative enough to encourage you folks to create great pictures has helped to enhance my own powers of observation. The WDEs are a great training ground for us. Keep the art coming!

Second all those good emotions!
And sorry for thinking you were a "she"! Your username doesn't give any clues (neither does mine, and lots thought I was a "he" until I put my name in my sig). And AJ- well, there's an EJ in the Pastel forum and her name is Emma Jane....
I didn't see your correction on that other thread until today, but when I saw your images and read your text on Saturday, I suddenly clued in! No way is this written by a girl! Duuhhhh.(bonks self on head)
