Re: Neon Signs
Hello,
THank you for the kind comments.
Mimal- these are sootc, I took them at night.
A little information about the sailfish sign. The sign was built in the late 50's and erected in its current location in 1962 as a landmark for tourists. Some parts of the sign have been replaced over the years but for the most part it is the original. The sailfish alone weighs about 1 ton and is 22.5 feet long
Ariadnearts- I don't know much about neon, but I have a friend that has taken some really neat photographs of neon signs. The neon flashes a certain number of times every second and with the correct exposure times and movement of the camera you can "catch" the flashes.
