Major, from Anhaueser Busch

This is "Major," clydesdale wheel horse for the Anhaueser Busch team, from a freehand pencil drawing of a photo I took. He is huge. He had about 25 kids around him, petting him as high as they could reach, and he was a perfect gentleman. I'm getting the hang of pastels I think, and really like them. This is 11x14 on some paper I found in my "stuff." The paper accepted pastel really well, but is rather thin.

Well, I'll take that as a compliment--coming from a Texan and guy from Wyoming .

Am having a wonderful time with pastels!
