Welcome Caroline! It's showing here fine.

I like your use of the strong blues and greens particularly.

All those stripes on the awnings!

Hope you're a regular here from now on!

Dave

Welcome for your first time - hope this is just the start. You have put lots of movement into the sky and the house is so detailed for such a short time.

Hi and welcome! This TOTALLY makes me think....'it was a dark and stormy night'....and then the story of the house takes place! Love the movement and especially the mood!

The swirling brush strokes and color definitely set up a strong mood piece. I like how the house fades on the left in order to keep the eyes in the painting. Welcome to WDE, Caroline!

Welcome Caroline. I'm glad you joined in this weekend. Such bold use of color, and brushwork. You captured such an eerie feeling. Maybe the old place is haunted!!

Welcome Caroline......... You did very well with a "not so easy" piece for your first WDE........ I hope that you enjoyed yourself and that you will come back week after week........ it's made a Saturday slave of me........ your painting is lovely......... the somber effect is achieved with the use of greyed house color and stormy skies......... good job..........
