On the easel WIP

Title: On the easel WIP
Year Created: 2004
Medium: Oil
Surface: Canvas
Dimension: 24x20
Allow digital alterations?: Yes!

This is what's on my easel at the moment, and I thought I'd check with you how the composition works. It's not finished as you can tell... but I will keep it simple.
I will place a few paintings in the background on the green wall, very simply rendered. And the colors will be rendered as well, like for example the orange hair on the right figure.

So at this stage, what do you think?
Strictly compositionally speaking?

My thoughts for now are focused on the table, what to place there if anything, and where?

Oh, and if somone figures out who I am, - keep it to yourself will you?

- Thanks.

I dont think I would add anything to the desk. It having nothing on it goes with the mood and the expression on their faces IMHO...I love this style. Their faces are great! and the figures!!! Good composition.

Re: On the easel WIP

I'd leave these two juicy spinsters as they are portrayed now in the sober décor, they're getting all the attention the painting needs .......

Can't put my finger on the artist though ........
