What should we do with Bin-Laden?

This was in my inbox this morning ... enjoy.

----------
What should we do with Bin-Laden?

Killing him will only create a martyr. Holding him prisoner will inspire his comrades to take hostages to demand his release.

Therefore, I suggest we do neither.

Let the Special Forces, Seals or whatever covertly capture him, fly him to an undisclosed hospital and have surgeons quickly
perrform a complete sex change operation. Then we return her to Afghanistan to live as a woman under the Taliban.
----------

Cheers.
Scott

I second that motion.
Our local radion station announcer said.
Don't bomb them to kill. Bomb them with 'bread, butter, pork and veges and everything westernized.

Yes indeed! I volunteer my services as lead surgeon. I will waive my normally stiff fees and cut the guy some slack! Maybe the reason Osama is so hard to find is that he has done this already.

What an interesting solution to a really thorny problem. What would it take, I wonder, to get such punishment passed as a penalty for conviction?

But I think that Afghan women generally would prefer there be no Taliban or any similar organization ruling the country when all is said and done -- Afghan women made Column One in the Los Angeles Times this past weekend, with information about clandestine schools for girls, the difficulties of walking without showing your ankles in a burka, and the possibility that women, whose arms are pretty much limited to stones and boiling water, might fight to overthrow this regime if that becomes a focus of current military activity.
