Gymnast

My 18 year-old sister has heard rave about WC, so she wanted me to post this drawing for her. The picture was taken at an angle, so it isn't the best representation. C&C needed! (x-posted in portrait, and figure)

Re: Gymnast

You're right, it's not easy to see! Any chance of you taking another pic standing right over it?
So, did your sister draw this from life or is there a ref picture to critique against?

Re: Gymnast

I cannot make out a whole lot and I second Diedre's request for a repost but tiling my head ans squinting--I do have two comments--work on developing a range of values from dark to light AND I love the look on the girl's face--it is a look of single minded determination.

Works for me, maybe you need to adjust the contrast on your computer.

Re: Gymnast

I like the way the foot connects to the head and as I examine the image, I can see that it is her foot.. I would like to see the rest of the body though because gymnast make these wonderful arches when they perform their routines. Right now you have created this wonderful negative space but it could give the impression that someone is leaping off her head. What do you think?
