Why I Changed my Tinyhead...

I have noticed that Scott B has changed his tinyhead to a photo of himself in the military. Pixelscapes has changed hers to an American Flag heart. And I into the WTC at night, which is how I choose to remember it and my city, living in the NY area...

I was suggested by a friend to change my tinyhead for a week as a tribute. I am not suggesting to anyone to do the same, do as you like ofcourse. But I see that I am not alone... especially here...

I posted these words in another thread, but I thought I'd repeat them here before I go to sleep... take care all

"May you all get home safely today
May the least of your worries be what to eat for dinner
May you have someone there at your side
and may that someone be healthly and full of life...

May you sleep soundly and dream often
May your friends forget to call, and have tomorrow to remember
May your families miss you for only being out tonight
and may you always have hope that there is still time... "

Bobby

To be honest, I didn't want to see my own grinning zanyedited face there...

As artists... as people, actually... We will all find ways to express how we're feeling, and to express sympathy. Maybe visually through gestures like this, or through our artwork... maybe in some other way, like helping out somehow if we feel able. I wish everyone smoothness as you all do whatever you have to do, in order to heal as much as you can.

Post Change of Tinyhead.

Bob, this is a good idea.
I see Zotma is asking people to paint their feelings, but I just dont think I could paint at the moment.
This tinyhead is how I feel at the moment.
I cried buckets today when they played the USA National Anthem, in London at the Changing of the Guard.

I just didn't want to see myself grinning, and my computer is so old, I didn't have a good one of a flag. I picked out a photo of little children, our future, and who often are hurt so much.

Today, I've been putting out the United States Flag, and tried to get my WWII flag from my uncle's funeral up, but it was too large. I didn't realize those flags are the size of a bed, although I should have! I just put my regular size one out.

We have friends missing at NYT also.

I totally agree about the tinyheads, I don't want to see my horrible smiling face there, but HELP, I don't know how to change it, please someone get rid of it for me.

Karen

At Last, I have managed it (not quite sure how) but thankyou Joe for your email giving me instructions.

Here's mine. It's a section of an abstract called dark side.

It probably doesn't really matter, Karen. It's just up to each person.
I think I went into "my wc" and either "options" where you set up your tinyhead. You can click on one of the generic tinyheads or load another one. Unfortunately I didn't have a good one to put up, like a flag, so I chose one of the generic ones.

I have changed mine too....I have many dreams and this was one of them.....lost souls trying to find their way out of the darkness of a madman. I cannot stop thinking about all those who were alone in their time of darkness....God Bless them all.

I drew this while I was talking with my Mom on an envelope....funny the words that showed up next to the pic I drew are 'First & Alone'....how appropriate.

This site is so incredible.....the unity, the strength, I am so damn proud to be an American.

Though I felt I should change my tinyhead as well, I have to admit that I dislike Scott B's new one quite a lot ...
