Hi everyone,

I'm wandering over from the All Media Events forum where I've been spending Saturday afternoons but my passion is really for people. I give Wetcanvas all the credit for motivating me. I recently found a place to go figure drawing. Here is a picture from Wednesday, my second session. I had originally planned on doing it on tinted paper after I read Rosic's demo (thanks Rosic!) but didn't get a chance so had to make due with white.

I'm so excited that you have jumped in and joined us. So you love figure drawing... well you have come to the right place and before you know it you'll be one of the family. I'm glad my demo inspired you... just as Rebecca's inspired me... and in turn you will be inspiring others. There's a special connection shared by us artist wouldn't you agree.

My passion is people too... oh yea... and BLUES music!

Kathy, yes an excellent start, you seem totally confident with charcoal, the figure is handled very well and I like the way you have made it a complete picture.
What size were you working and how long was the pose?
Will look forward to seeing more from the future sessions.
