Texas Blue Bells

I painted this using a photo reference that I took while living north of Dallas, TX. I loved the blue bells!! It's framed and ready for a gallery in North Georgia where I painted it during a demo earlier this month. I added the fence posts so that the field wouldn't look so vacant

This is stunningly beautiful Carly--I sure would like to go for a stroll across that flowery meadow!

It's lovely! Makes me think of Easter. I wonder if there are any eggs hidden in that field?

Great job!

The colors are breathtaking. Beautiful work. I was wondering about the fence. You chose to end it toward the middle of the painting . Did you consider extending it to the shed at the top of the painting ? Thank you Tom

Re: Texas Blue Bells

This really is gorgeous! And I never even knew Texas HAD blue bells! Bluebonnets, yes, but never saw any blue bells...pooh, I miss everything! And here's me, a native Texican, too!

I love the distance created by the composition, not to mention the lovely colors. Just beautiful!

Re: Texas Blue Bells

Beautiful and inspiring! Should the fence posts cast a shadow as well?
