Use to denote nudity/mature subject matter charcoal nude

here is my last figure drawing before being dragged screaming to go on annual holiday - not that I hate holidays but they are so disruptive and how I miss the figure drawing - always thought it would be great to be rich enough to hire a large house on Venice and take three or four models , draw in the morning and then relax the rest of the time , but rich I am not so it is goodbye to the ladies for a little while
- the model is a new lady - an American woman just moved into a nearby town in the Scottish Borders, thanks for looking and any comments, Derek

You're lucky to have models at all.

I like this one. The navel is in too much shadow, and the raised arm is somewhat distorted, but I really like the rest.
You've got that lighting nailed (that's a good thing, mind)

Hi Mayet,

we can see a few strokes of genious in your picture. (The white area where her hand lays for instance). Superb...
It is an excellent pose. (good work of the model)
It all feels very relaxed. I am sure, the atmosphere during the process was loose.

My deepest Respect.

Thanks for your comments ,
Nathan odd you point out the navel bit - I was aware it was unresolved but it seemed important to leave it like that,
Mayet, as ever thanks for comments,
and Mclaughlan , yes the pose was partly the models invention and it was a relaxed session , thanks from Derek

Oh, it's very good Derek, if I'm not saying this too late.
I can't agree about the arm with Nathan, it looks natural, but the navel is really a bit dark.
A very good pose... she looks very relaxed and natural
