I need picture of Iwata HP-C parts

Fellow airbrushers,

When cleaning my airbrush today I broke it. Does anyone have a picture of the Parts list for an Iwata HP-C Airbrush. If so please upload it to me. I don't know the name of the part to have it replaced. It is that little peice that fits over the tip of the airbrush the needle runs throught. They give you a little wrench to remove it for cleaning. I removed this little (Cap) and the treads broke off in side of the airbrush. I hope I don't have to replace it.

Sam,

Your the man. Thank you very much. It is number # 3 110049 fluid nozzle 0.3 mm. I was able to get the treads out of the airbrush with the tip of an exacto knife. I quess it is an expensive day for me, I already ordered Art Supplies today. This piece costs $33.00 here locally. Thanks again Sam.

Re: I need picture of Iwata HP-C parts

LMAO, not at you Donna but because I'm thinking about the time I did it myself and I know of others that have done it too!!!! The point is don't feel bad. If you broke #3, it's the nozzle and if the threaded part is still in the airbrush, what I have is a VL reaming tool, stick it down in so that the pressure is against the inside of the nozzle and unthread it. An old airbrush needle sometimes works too. You have to "hook" the remaining nozzle part while holding pressure against the sides without touching the threaded airbrush body. It's not as hard as it sounds.

Been there, Done that! Smile, you just joined the club. Now we just have to think of a name for the club...

Next up...
How to commit Harry Carry using an airbrush. My favorite, hold airbrush against wall, crown cap out and ram yourself into it.

Penny,

Thank you. I was able to get it out of the AB body. The hardest part for me was just seeing it. The eye sight is the first to go when you're over 40 yrs. old.

I used a round toothpick when I broke my nozzle on the hp-c.Less chance to scratch or gouge something.

Re: I need picture of Iwata HP-C parts

You have to change your name to lucky dog! When I got my airbrush I disassembled it, following the rules of "righty/tighty lefty/loosie the nozzle snapped inside when I went to take it out. I tried a few things before I got my reamer. Needless to say, a toothpick wasn't going to do it. It was like it was glued in there from the manufacturer. The strange part about it was that there was a red, that looked like it was glue. Oh well.

Re: I need picture of Iwata HP-C parts

this is why i like the evolution, hansa and the colani more...you can clean the nozzle without any tools...just turn the tip loose and the nozzle will come out..
