Re: Dead stuff

I hate to ask why there are dead fish there! YUCK! I love the third shot & always wonder how people could let lovely old places go to wrack & ruin! The last one is cool! Use the uploader under quick links I can't member the second one & my memory never was that good!

That's the question the experts are trying to answer. They say it is cold water disease, but that they are puzzled because the water temp is normal. At any rate the only fish affected have been gold fish that were probably released by some well meaning person years ago. They do't belong there and it's probably good for the lake that they are dying. The dead and dying fish are bringing bald eagles from far away. I haven't seen any yet, but they showed a large bunch of them on TV news. 62 were counted at the time.

Re: Dead stuff

The house photo is gorgeous, and I like the last one too. Has an almost abstract feel to it. The tree trunk is cool too. Can't say I like the dead fish photo

Debatable indeed Jack, the first two will be food for something that flies or crawls, we can debate the others! Lovely old house, it would make a great restoration.

Re: Dead stuff

Well, now I know why the "dead goldfish." (I asked about them in your "almost sunset" thread.)

I love the second one. The POV is wonderful and the light is just perfect to pick out every one of those branch "knobs" and the grain in the tree trunk.

I wouldn't mind moving into that great old house and fixin' 'er up! LOL.

The last one is very nice also, but I'd like to see a lil more detail on the trunk. Perhaps you'd lose some detail in the cavity, though. Ah, so many choices, so little time........

Nice work, Jack.
