First Lentil Sets!

Here are my first few lentil sets. I used my Tapcraft lentil shaper and they turned out pretty good. The more lentils I make the better they get. I’m still working on the yellow set. The black set I must keep and hoard for myself. And the Ivory ones must go to Ebay. So let me see your first lentil sets!

Re: First Lentil Sets!

I made my first lentil set the other day but I threw them away. They were a blue opaque and I burnt them. (Didn't realize it till I got them out of the kiln. They looked all dirty!) They looked awful. I guess I'll have to practice working with the blues more. Yours look great! Congratulations!

Re: First Lentil Sets!

My first set didn't survive the cleaning process. I guess I hadn't used enough glass so the glass around the mandrel was to thin and broke. I'm still doing the PPP, they are getting better

Re: First Lentil Sets!

Very nice! I have put the shaper away until I get my current transparent craze out of my head!
