Larry, thanks for the great landscape wip..........ended very fresh and colorful..........Altho I do mostly watercolor, I enjoy these wips. Can always learn something useful......thanks for the time you spent putting it together.....

Hi Don,
Love this work you have here. I guess just about everything ever painted or touched by humans could be improved in some way. For me this is wonderful as is, I'd be very happy to hang this on my wall (if my wife would let me bang another nail in that is ).
The great thing about WC is the different views and opinions expressed here, terrific learning tool for all.

Welcome!!

This is a bit late Don, but Welcome to WetCanvas!!! I love the Northwoods...and happy to see another Northen'r here!!! I am a bit south of you...in sunny Crivitz...pop 1,000. I paint in w/c and pastels...I am too messy for oils.

The best way to describe your painting is serene....I get a wonderfully peaceful feeling when I look at it...I love doing landscapes!! I was just up in L'Anse MI this summer..and doing some work...last week in Niagra and Norway. The trees are just starting to turn...so I have to go back!!

Again...welcome to WetCanvas....you will learn much here!!
