Portrait of Odilon Redon

This is a representation of the symbolist artist "Odilon Redon". You can see that I've recreated the hot air balloon drawing of his as part of his body.

http://www.btinternet.com/~rubberneck/image271.gif

The image is a digitally manipulated collage.

Great depth and almost too "real".

Do these reproduce well? How? Glicee's?

Re: Portrait of Odilon Redon

This is a fascinating piece! Is it a photo manipulation or a drawing, or combination of both?

Re: Portrait of Odilon Redon

Thanks for the response! As for how these look printed out, really well actually. I printed a few on photo style paper and they look great. I'm going to have some in a gallery in Chicago later this year so I need to look into making some higher quality prints that I can sell.

And this is completely digital collage manipulation.

Here's something to show you that this, while intended to stand alone, is just the tip of the iceberg. Here's the as yet unfinished final composition it will be attached to. It's some loose connection to Peter Bruegel The Elder's "Tower of Babel".
