Checker Balls

Been messing around with Strata 3D Pro today thinking up ideas that I can then paint in oil on canvas in a photorealism style. This is my favourite render of the day which I think will look great on a large canvas. comments welcome.

Paul, you are a very talented artist....I looked at your website. I like what you have done here very much...how it is done is way over my head though. The reflections fascinate me..it can't be easy to figure out how to do these.

Wow, my eyes will never be the same!
It's not to my personal taste, but I have great admiration for 3D artists, as my small talent doesn't go that way at all.

Re: Checker Balls

Thanks for your comments. There's really not much to creating images like this. You could learn to do stuff like this in an hour or so. There's probably more of an art to setting the lighting and cameras which set the scene just right.

Paul.
