Here is one of the only flowers I've ever done. I ended up giving it to my Mom as a thank you for helping out with our wedding. I did this in one day (watching movies) 11"x14" Fabriano 4 smooth paper.

That Rose is the realest looking rose I have ever seen here. I can smell it. I want to pick it and put into a vase. God this is good. Thanks for showing this WOW

Meant to ask - what colours did you use for your darkest shadows please??? I ask because I have trouble sometimes to keep shadows from turning to 'mud'.

Thanks guys but I still think the queen of flowers is Beau!

Lulu Sure if you can tell me what colours to make mud!!! Have a heck of a time wiht dirt
I uased a light layer of black and then added.sap green and night green. I just kept layering those three untill it was dark enough. FYI these are Polychromos.
