Horse Progress on W&N black paper for Shirl
Thought I would post it this way. Here is the first scan. My scanner is dead.
First layer done in Deep Vermillion with 2 layers of white and grey for the blaze.

The second scan
Studio, Derwent Colours added to the blaze are Turquoise blue and more white with Raw Sienna. the body, Deep Vermillion, Orange Chrome Burnt Umber, Burnt Charmine, Brown Ochre. Still not finished.

So interesting TeAnne! Now he's not going to end up the same color as before? Or is he...?
Darn, I don't know how to translate to Prismas.

Thanks Shirl, I think he is a bit on the dark side. Ivyleaf and I made colour charts that might help you with the colours. I will put the numbers beside the names if you like?

Wow he is so cool (dating my vocabulary) on black. I am sending out your package tomorrow morning would you like some fawn colored stonhinge. I bought it and don't care for the color.

Wow! That hair looks terrific!!! You've changed him from a chesnut to a bay. Gotta have the recipe!!! Do the color numbers intermix between brands? Shows you how much I know LOL!
Love the blaze!! And the eyes.....
How long is this drawing taking you?

Hi Shirl, not sure about the numbers question, sorry.
Overall about 6 hours so far, it's hard to say cos I'm not constantly at it. I put it away when the sun goes down. The lighting is bad in my loungeroom, waiting for the landlady to fix the globe as it is stuck (It's a 3 globe lighting system) quite dangerous if you ask me.

This is coming along GREAT! Have you finished him yet? Or should I say Are you getting sick of him yet? hehehe, I get fed up with my drawings real quick
Are you still looking for Prismacolours? The second local art shop here has them now too... I think there must be some art warehouse somewhere importing them because I can't imagine my art shop guy importing them himself... it's such a small shop... I'll try to do some investigating...
