Question First Sculpture

This is my first posting in this forum. The piece shown is my first sculpture. The original was made in clay, then a mold was made and plaster was used to make the final piece. It was then hand coloured and the surface sealed. It is approx. 6" high.

Your comments and input would be much appreciated.

I like the simplicity of the form. I am interested in learning about mouldmaking and casting. What kind of mould did you use? I like your hand colouring, too. It looks like marble. How did you colour it?

BTW - I changed your file name and reuploaded because the & symbol in the title was making the jpeg show as a link rather than a picture. For the future, please use just plain letters or numbers and no spaces for file names.
