Unhappy Finding Art Scholarships

Hello there!
I am a junior in college studying painting. I recently transferred from a community college to a private university and the tuition there is outrageous!!! I've spoken to a financial aid officer, filled out a FAFSA application, and have done numerous searches on the internet to find other options. So far, I have three scholarships and together they almost cover half of the cost, not including art supplies (which we all know can be quite costly). It really is a great school, they have an incredible art program and awesome facilities--- I'm definitely getting my money's worth... but i'm broke! If anyone has any information/advice at all it would be sooooo greatly appreciated! Thankx!

Re: Finding Art Scholarships

Not sure where you are from?

I work at a university. The source we recommend for students to look for scholarships is:

www.fastweb.com

Any place that asks you to pay money to find a scholarship is not worth considering. Fastweb is FREE...

Also, I'd suggest going to the local or state art organizations and see if any of them are offering scholarships or grants available for students.

Good luck!
