New chat server is up!

Ok, WC! chat heads. The new chat server is up and running, although far from customized and tailored for our community.

The new chat server gives us a lot more firepower and goodies, but there are a few minor things from the old server that we won't have now (like being able to type "lol" and have it say " ... is laughing out loud". But:

Some of the new features:

• You can use your avatar/tinyhead from the forums
• We have the ability to do file sharing between members (not enabled at the moment)
• We have more tools for doing moderated chats, web tours, etc
• Bunch of other things ... just go look!

Scott, FYI, those of us with custom tinyheads can bring them up in the new chat, but anyone who has picked one of the stock tinyheads apparently can't. I don't know why that is, but something you might like to have a look at.
