Painted Saturday morning freestyle from out my head ( its winter, no flowers around LOL). Only my second still life, my first about two years ago of fruit for my lunch in pastel. This one done on a piece of primed unstretched canvas in oil. More to do on it yet but great fun up to now.Lovely thick paint. Yum.

Billyg, "Flowers in my Head" is a very impressive floral scene. Maybe you have a real talent for this type of painting.

Hey Javier,
I have a talent for splashing paint around and seeing what turns up LOL.Its what I mean when I say, Paint like Millionaire, dont be frightened of using paint, you can always buy more and it stops you from being up tight with your work instead of letting it flow. I hate it when some of my friends pick up a brush or pencil and hold it near the ferrule, Ah yeuk, tiny tight bits. Yeh I do finicky bits as well but only in the big picture. This really did come out my head though I borrowed the vase from Renoir, LOL.
