Lightbulb ***** Extremely Useful Links *****

This is a new 2004 edition for Useful Links -

This section is especially made for our type of Art and would make a great complement to our forum.

+++++ Please rate this thread as high as you believe is useful +++++

I'll start this section with a link to a site that has a special place in my heart. This site is responsible for most of my knowledge and experience in digital arts, i now have.
I recommend to pay a visit to their tutorial section if you want to gather methods and techniques.
It's run by Phyllis Stewart, an extremely talented artist, that happen to be a member here as well. She has been too busy running her forum and attending her bussiness but she or any of the fine people there will gladly answer whatever questions you might have in order to become a better artist.
My guess is that after a while, the section of digital manipulation will make a quantum leap into creativity, therefore making Wet Canvas a better allround art place at the end.

------------------------ EXTREMELY USEFUL LINKS -------------------------
http://www.innographx.com/forum/index.php -- Tutorials for digital Photoart, photo retouching and restoration.

2.- Link on links - Once at Innographx go visit their 'Treasure Chest' it's a section dedicated to useful links. You can't afford to miss it.
I've posted a few there under the handle "kaiman"

3.- Another link on links is at Camerans Professional Photo Center where you'll find tons of info, just scroll down to The Camerans Resource Center where you'll find a link to Twang's PS Actions . If you click on this last link it will start a download for Twang's actions.

I'll gather some more info in a while, as you'll have your hands full for a long time now.

Happy learning !

If you have a useful link, just click on "new reply" and tell us about it in the same fashion as above.

2- I have to repeat #2 for placing a link directly to Innographx Treasure Chest

4-The works plug-in filters has many filters and plug-ins for sale . But there is some freeware as well.

The Works Freeware

5.- BuzzPro--A simple plug in with million possibilities. Steve's Trimoon is doing some research on this plug-in and he's basing lots of his last renditions on this little gem.
Several members have been asking me about procedures for a different watercolor rendition i've been doing for some time now.
i'll post a link to MANY excellent tutorials for getting the most of BUZZ filters.

Fool proof instructions: Excellent step-by-step descriptions on the procedures, with photos of partial results.

I've used some of them, whole or in parts in no particular order and once in a while i get a pretty decent result.
Here's one i recently achieved on a photograph by Lisa (from Innographx) -> Fuscia Flower

Click here for warping to BUZZ Tutes land

Have fun !!

Ivy, thanks for contributing.
I liked the tutorial, it reminded me when i tried to do that with actual polaroids back in the early 80's.

I'll try the digital way now.

Veronica,
Thanks very much for rating this thread.

Keep 'em comin'

I used one of the links someone posted here yesterday and found this one especially made for me. It's called a "Pre-Beginner" tutorial for Photoshop Elements.

Your Own Signature Stamp

You can have a personalized signature stamp.

Here's something created and simplified by the one and only, Master Steve Le Quier.

Quote:
Steve Le quier wrote
If you follow the link below, you will find an action I created to simplify creating a signature using your custom shape tool. It is in the form of a zip file and has a read me file that will give instructions on its use. Once you have typed or scanned in a signature, it only takes about one second to create a custom signature. Steve

Steve's action for creating a signature tool

Have fun
