first bead worthy of showing...

Last night I managed a fish bead...
I have asked santa for a kiln to save my lil fishy, but he told me his credit card was maxed until January . Poor fishy has to go in the "waiting to be annealed bin"

Photo quality is iffy, but its a start...
Any tips and suggestions are welcome.

Thumbs up awwwwwwwwwwwww

That is the cutest fishy baby. I just started "frying fish" - Deb Crowleys word!!! I love it. mine are not that cute. I tried to make a portrait of my Fighting Fish, and it looked like that rocket from that super old sci-fi television program...Just assure your fishy baby that it will get annealed as soon as mommy has the money, just don't cluck him around, he will make it = God Bless - Virginia L.

I made my first one on Friday - my DH said it looked like a turtle. So it didn't have any lips, so big deal. Then it can't be caught by some dumb old fisherman.

So I pouted all day Saturday.

Today I read everything I could on making a fish. Sorta now see what he meant.

Monday I create fish #2. I will save #1 for the next fugly postings.

(By contrast with the Yankee, the Southerner never uses one word when ten or twenty will do)...This is a different place. Our way of thinking is different, as are our ways of seeing, laughing, singing, eating, meeting and parting. Nothing about us is quite the same as in the country to the north and west. What we carry in our memories is different too, and that may explain everything else." --Charles Kuralt in "Southerners: Portrait of a People"

Your fishee is just adorable...
I could envision him swimming with Nemo!

Why do they lay in your path and refuse to move out of your way and then complain bitterly when you trip over them?
