Kitten

Minette, my cousin's kittie. The first one has been taken with the flash.

Now that I've got a new, better flash, I'll try to take more pictures inside. It was a pain using the old flash ; the grid was barely readable, and it didn't always start at the right moment.

Thank you
Lil' kittie is not afraid by cameras, as you can see.

What an adorable kitten. I love the first one where she's coming out from under the tree. Oh boy, kittens and Christmas trees.
That's why I didn't put one up this year.

A delightful creature, Nath - and I agree with Kate, I love the expression in #3!

My cousin wanted the tree. Now she knows better, LOL!

I'd like to do a Christmas card out of this one for next year (it's too late, now, LOL!). This little kittie is *so* photogenic, I can't wait to see her again with my new flash on hand!

Adorable, all three, Nath. I like #1 the best, but the kitty's face and front paws are just a bit blown out. White is bl**dy difficult to shoot, especially with a flash. It would make an adorable Christmas card. #3 is a lovely portrait, and indeed, she does have a marvelous expression on her face. I like the lighting and the softness of it. Well done!

Thank you
Ariadne, I agree with you that the white is too white in the first one. I've got a new flash now, with a bouncing head, so next time I see this little darling... Clic clic clic!

See how she looks as a Christmas card:
shameless Merry Christmas plug
(OK, how do we do to link to a specific post in a thread???)

Thank you, TeAnne and Alan!
I'm in a hurry to see her again. She's sweet, playful and smart. She purrs, too - I slept (or rather, didn't sleep) at my cousin's place, with Minette curled up near my left ear where she purred all night!
