Still would like to see just a tad more contrast by using more darks... boy I'm demanding aren't I?
Are you a photographer? No matter... but you can glean a wealth of info by studying Ansel Adams "Zone System". His belief was that every B&W photograph he created should have nine values (Zones) between black and white. I try to apply this method to much of my charcoal work. Granted it is not a hard fast rule for every drawing but it does work well when one wants to put more contrast into their work. Try it... I think you'll like it.
