Lone Tree, Camarillo, CA

10x8" Acryllic on Masonite Panel

This is one of the most relaxing sunset I have ever witnessed, so much so that I later painted it from memory.

Dcheek, I have been to Camarillo and it is one of the lovely places on the face of the earth.

"Lone Tree" is a very nice painting.
Keep painting and keep posting.

The Best,

I especially like how you have done the leaves of the tree and the colours you have used,

Having lived in California most of my life I am a little biased and believe that the coastline between Santa Barbara and the Oregon border some of the most breath taking and beautiful anywhere. Good job you captured the soul of the lone trees which live on the edge.

Cool

Thank you,

I agree that the area is tremendously beautiful. I spent nearly ten years with the Air Force there on the 'Central Coast'. HWY-1 may be a slow drive, but well worth it. Thanks again.
