After climbing several flights of stairs, the exit from the tomb is via this ramp:



... not in itself all that interesting except it comes out exactly opposite the "Soul Tower". Every tomb had one of these apparently, with an obelisk inside, guaranteeing a propitious afterlife.





In the grounds I saw trees growing out of walls:



and a persimmon tree orchard surrounded by a roofed wall that really complimented the autumn colours of the trees and the ripe persimmons:

That roofed wall is something else isn't it, don't think I've ever seen a wall with a roof before. Very cool!
