It’s been a while since my last post, here are a couple of things I’ve been up to…
‘Out for a Stroll’ is an 11×14 acrylics on canvas.
‘Yearling’ is also an 11×14 acrylics on canvas. C&C are most welcome.

October 20, 2019 at 4:09 pm #895510Thank you Kay. They are work from photos that were taken just a few feet from one another… at different times though. The horse likes to think of himself as a deer, don’t know what the deer thinks except that he likes to hang around…it’s a safe place.

C & C WelcomeOctober 22, 2019 at 12:53 pm #895516Ethereal is a good word, especially for the deer. I love that glow behnd it and the touches of blue on the vegetation. Really like the horse too, there is a nice sense of movement and I like the shapes in the leaves behind.

So long, and thanks ...
October 22, 2019 at 1:15 pm #895511Thank you Ginny and Kay. The ground here is totally sand and it is white, that day the image of the deer was captured, the sunlight reflected off the sand in a way that camouflaged the deer…I think he was probably going for that. The horse sometimes times tries the same kind of thing, they are pals.

October 24, 2019 at 6:28 pm #895520I love the colors. They give both paintings a bit of a magical/peaceful appearance to me. Really nice.
C&C Welcome!
