belt, also unter Wert verkauft.
Platz machen.
A typical land station from the time this railway was built. Today, many of
them are empty and are literally squandered, so sold below value. Like
this one, who changed hands for a “Bread and butter”. Well, these proper-
ties are not up to date, but have the charm you should get. The old rail-
way romance has had its day and has to give way to faceless stations.Format/Format: 35 x 50 cm

JoanApril 6, 2019 at 3:15 pm #811119This is so charming, it’s my new favorite of your paintings.
And it is a shame what happened to these old station buildings since the railroad was privatized.Esther
April 6, 2019 at 5:30 pm #811125I always enjoy your paintings so much Ernst. This one is excellent, as always, but with it being the closeup of a building, it’s even more excellent.

April 6, 2019 at 9:53 pm #811116This is very nice. While the real building may not be up-to-date, you have given them a new lease on life.

April 7, 2019 at 4:16 am #811115Beautifully painted Ernst. The shadows on the roof and facade are really well done and the light is super. I like the strong contrast with the dark trees to the left. Does the railway no longer exist?
