Sculptured hands

This is a toughie. My son was killed in an auto accident on Oct. 9, 2003. A truck driver was the first person on the scene. He went to my son, who was conscious and who made eyecontact with the man. The man tells me that my son said, "Please don't leave me". This kind man held my son's hand until his last breath.

I am very touched by his actions. This man may not realize it, but when he held my son's hand, he was also holding my heart.

I don't know how to sculpt. I would like to give this man a gift. Maybe a pair of hands, cupped, holding little angel wings. I would be interested in paying for this work, but not as though it were a Rodin. I am not rich.

Please let me know if any of you might have a suggestion or idea and if so, you can email me with info, size, material etc and cost. I would appreciate hearing from you.

By the way, my son was negative for alcohol and drugs, and he was wearing a seatbelt.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Elizabeth

I read this and was just thinking of your hands sculpture steve

Sorry to hear of your loss Elizabeth - what a nice thought to wish to send this man a gift. It must be a comfort for you to know that someone was with your son in those final moments
