        Hi all,

while I enjoyed the original version I felt that I had to overpaint it. One of the reasons was that the colors in the photo of the old one were charming, but not accurate. In truth, they looked much more muddy. I also thought that the figures should stand out more.

So, here is the updated version (another 2 hours of work on top of 1.5h). I hope that the soul is still in there rather than having fallen prey to a more technical treatment. Right now, I am pretty happy though (but I can never tell whether I still like it on the next day).

Let me know what you think.

        Best,
        Daniel

The soul is still intact and its great.

The essential thing, for me, is to offer a visual expression of those things in our experience that words cannot express www.jim-whalen.artistwebsites.com

It is still the same, but improved.

I like this even better! Colors more unified and calming. The figures standout very well!
