Lady Agnew - process

Two years a go I went to Edimburgh, this painting by Sargent is one of the treasures that can be found there. This is just a study for practise, I am sharing the process and some close ups. Still not finished, will post more later on.

Re: Lady Agnew - process

thank you.

In case someone may wonder, the brush panel on the right (laptop) is a plugin called "Brusherator", very handy to manage the brushes.

The color wheel is a plugin called "Coolorus", much better than PS default.
Those two are the only plug ins I use in PS, right now they are a must to me.

I strongly recommend to have always open the brush panel (the one that activates pressing F5) and tweak the brushes constantly during the painting, after some time all the controls will become intuitive. Brusherator helps a lot too by having a dedicated panel to place tools (.tpl), brushes (.abr), actions, etc. all 100% customisable.
