Zinnia

Built as HMS Portland Bill Maintainance ship, she was not completed untill Dec 1945. She was purchased by the Stag Line and converted to merchant status. She was scraped in 1965.

Wet in wet for the upper ones, I hair dryered it then put in the lower ones. A touch of white gouache, and 'Bobs yer Auntie's Bidie In' less than 10 minutes.

Oops - I see I got the apostrophe in the wrong place .
Wish I could do my paintings as quick as that but I know the current Tornado I'm about to embark on will take a week or two
