Re: SEPTEMBER Plant Parade Challenge

Have been away the past week so I'm a little late I think posting my painting. Oh what lovely versions of the morning glories, just beautiful. I did manage to get one finished yesterday from my own photo, done in watercolors.

Re: SEPTEMBER Plant Parade Challenge

Christel - That's lovely! What a lot of work there would have been in that painting. You certainly use those OP's well!

Brian - Beautiful, and no we certainly won't banish you for adding the goose! I love it!

Wendy - Lovely watercolour of the Convolvulus!
I do love the pure white flowers of the Convolulous, so pristine, but oh dear, when the plant gets control, it takes over, doesn't it.

Bun - Oh, I do love your painting! Gorgeous! Yes those Morning Glories always look their best in the morning, don't they!
Thanks for checking out my Blog! I'm going to have a look at other Blogs now too. I've never taken much notice of the Blogs links, in members Signature Lines, but I definitely will now. They are fascinating, and all different.

Tam - Beautiful, both of them! Both so different. I love them both, but do particularly like the single one with that beautiful pink background!

Lil - Lovely watercolor. Your Morning Glories look great.

Skylar Brown - Great digi! You've made a terrific job of it.
One of these days - when I have time - I'm going to learn how to do digi work. I do admire it!

22x15 watercolor using the white and variegated blue & white blooms. BBL to comment on other works; all look great so far.

Lil Nice. Cobalt blue?
Skylar I know nothing of digital painting, but it looks pretty neat.
Kay Love, love, love it! A lot of interest in the painting, background and all!

Re: SEPTEMBER Plant Parade Challenge

Meggs, what a great combo of colors using pink with blue. What medium?

Viv, I'll check your blog. They are really good for posting daily works.

Christel, your OPs fence is quite lovely and super overall design.

Brian, I love the illustration type style including the heart shaped leaves and the goose ready to start his buffet lunch.

Wendy, your light and airy watercolor is a happy, cheerful painting.

Bun, such nice value range in yours, so easy on the eye.

Tam, wow, I recognized AIs right away as I've started doing them also, but nowhere on WetCanvas is there a forum for the inks, unless you post according to subject matter as you've done here. Outstanding glories! Your second one with its soft pink bg in watercolor is a perfect choice.

Lil, such calming blue hues. What size and did you use ink line?

Skylar, now there's a stunning digi floral with a fence support!

Thanks for all your nice comments on mine and for participating.

Stunning entries, just fabulous! Will comment later.

Re: SEPTEMBER Plant Parade Challenge

Thank you for your nice comments. Thank you Kay for hosting this month, loved the choice and yes I did use the Pitt pen to outline flowers, the size is 9 x 12. All the versions were just beautiful and different. Also wanted to say that your painting is just beautiful.

Re: SEPTEMBER Plant Parade Challenge

Amazing that a weed has such beauty. Wish the blue ones grew wild in the UK!
Linda Wolff: I so like your 'biggie'. That tiny touch of grey at the tip of the pistil gives a great 3D effect.
Meggs: Just beautiful. There'll be a gasp at the exhibition.
Tuscanny: I love oil pastels too. Lots of patience here to create these pretty effects.
Brian: Love the goose! He looks fascinated by the flowers. I admire your neat drawing too.
Wendy: Dreamy, delightful drawing and soft colours.
Bun201: Lovely colour combinations here...you've sneaked in some unexpected ones to great effect.
TumblingT: The first painting is inspirational with lots of depth and areas to enjoy. Your second is so picture-perfect; how do you achieve that with runny watercolours?
ArtsyMom: Starry, happy glories; a delightful picture.
Skylar: Are you the same who used to paint those delicious giant roses?
These digi glories are so attractive and have a silky effect. I like the 3D effects.
Kay: You've caught the colour and light wonderfully on these delicate glories.

Margaretta, wow, all of these glories are glorious! I like how you grouped so many colors together and also your choice of mediums.

Vivien, if you don't get any other offers I can do one on Saturday. It will be midday though as I'm out in the morning or the night before.
