Lea, the ones shown here are Pitcher Plants but there is other types of carnivorous plants also, if you go to the RIL link it will show you a few others

My nephew, as a small boy, insisted on having a Venus Fly-trap plant so he could watch the killings!!!!!! Gruesome child!

I'm planning to get something done at the weekend. I've been to a few garden centres but it's the wrong time of year to buy Venus fly traps I think, as there aren't any around. I used to keep them too, I find them fascinating.
