Lightbulb WDE 15/16 January 2016 IMAGES

I will be posting 16 images and a challenge ...

Please wait until all are uploaded before commenting - thank you....

You have 30 minutes to make your choice and choose your materials - you may use any medium.

For the next two hours, just go for it……then STOP!, scan or photograph your work and post it in your own new thread with your title, beginning with WDE, plus date, plus title.

When you introduce your work, please add a description of size, medium, support (paper, canvas etc) and time taken.
If your work is digital, we'd appreciate a description of whether it's freehand drawing/painting, manipulated image or done using the filters available in some programs - you could also say which program you've used.
All are acceptable but we'd like to know the "hows, whys and wherefores"!!

Use WIP for any work in progress at the 2 hour mark, and MI for multiple images if other works are to be added before the following Monday.

NB. To avoid forum flooding, please put all of your work during the weekend, for the current WDE, into a single thread: multiple threads will be merged!
From the following TUESDAY, you may open a new thread for later work.

You have the whole week to participate - until the next WDE starts (usually Friday). If you finish a piece after that time, please post in its own thread and try to give the date/host of that particular week - if you can!

After posting your contribution, please view others’ entries and comment and encourage when you can. Unless requested, please refrain from critiquing.

...okay so it's a few critters now, first in the frame is some cows, they again I snapped in France, just t' show ya the weather ain't always hot, we got some dismal days, and these poor cows knee deep in mud say it all...

...and a french deer, sweet face, it was covered in crawly things, but ya can't see them, but you can see it's mates in the background further up the field...

...had to put one in of our dear Kizzie, we lost her last year.she was 16, bless her. Here she is enjoying what was left of the meter reader, well we did warn 'im

Re: WDE 15/16 January 2016 IMAGES

...i promised flowers and 'ere they be, sitting in an unusual jug that I think my dear departed friend potted, he was a brill sculptor and painter, and I learned a great deal from watching him work....thanks dear John...

...and some hydrangeas from sis's garden last summer...

...and heres more flowers than ya can shake a stick at, a market stall in a little french town...

and one of the pergola in our garden, insummer its covered in scented roses, honeysuckle, clematis and a rampant grape vine, the smell is utterly divine, especially in the warm evenings. just the place sit and listen to the nightingales and to sup a night cap...

...nearly done, hope yer preparin' yerselves fer a bit o a challenge

Re: WDE 15/16 January 2016 IMAGES

...last batch, n a bit o a mix....here's a really wacky one for the brave souls amongst you, t'is a stripped down portion of a jet engine. I love things like this, get the imagination sparking. This one put me in mind of the Pompidou Center in gay Paris....

...a few boulders balanced on one another, all mossy and wonderlandy...

...a lil rowing boat poised fer a quick getaway, or just a lazy paddle around a castle moat...

..and lastly a chateau, love these quirky battiments, this one is at Puy Chemin, Deux Sevres....

...and there it is, all done....
And a challenge, well we have Richard, breadmerchant, to thank for this idea, I have loved what he's done on those little boxes, so I was thinking, paint a piccy on an unusual support, a box, a chair, an old frying pan, a rock, but as always, have fun and enjoy yer painting

Fab fotos!!! I've picked out a couple. I'm probably too chicken for the challenge though, we shall see.

Lovely images! There are at least three I'd like to give a try.
Are they already in the RIL? I couldn't find them.
