Simple Things

8x11 Watercolor on 140lb Arches CP paper. This was probably the most challenging thing I have attempted. I really struggled with the sun beams. Any suggestions on how best to achieve that effect? Honest critiques appreciated. I am a newbie still learning! (Amazing reference photo credit to Viacheslav on pmp)

I *love* this. Your use of light and shadows looks very natural and organic, yet the piece has an abstract feel to it.

Re: Simple Things

This is amazing. I don't think you need any suggestions on the sunbeams.
